COVID-19: 63 Bangladeshis died in the US

A total of 63 Bangladeshis died of COVID-19 in the US. Of which 53 in New York and five each in New Jersey and Michigan in the last two weeks, reports said.

There are reports that six more Bangladeshis die of coronavirus in New York in a single day.

The US is the worst COVID-19 affected nation in the world with nearly 300,000 positive cases and 8,000 fatalities.

The tally in Bangladesh is 70 cases and eight deaths so far.

Recently, two Bangladesh citizens died at Brooklyn, three in Queens and one in Bronx.

The US on April 3 saw a new record in the number of Covid-19 deaths in one day with 1,480 dead, the most in any country since the pandemic began.

New York is the severely affected state in the US with over 100,000 cases.
