ZEE5 Global, the world’s largest streaming platform for South Asian content, announced the release date of its next direct-to-digital original film, Lost. Helmed by national award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Choudhury who has also directed the Amitabh Bachchan starrer PinkLost earned a standing ovation at t   Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2022, Atlanta Indian Film Festival 2022, and the 53rd International Film Festival of India. And after doing the rounds at these prestigious film festivals, Lost is now set to premiere on ZEE5 Global on 16th February.

Written by Shyamal Sengupta with dialogues by Ritesh Shah, Lost is based in Kolkata and is inspired by true events. The Yami Gautam Dhar starrer is a story of a bright young crime reporter in a relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theatre activist. It further represents a higher quest, and search for lost values of empathy and integrity. And what better way to commemorate this month of patriotism than to highlight the importance of freedom to remind us that not all hope is lost and for some journalists, their democratic voice and media integrity are still intact.

Lost will exclusively premiere on ZEE5 Global from 16th February.
