Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on 14th June 2020. The actor’s suicide case has been in the news from the past few weeks.
Earlier, it was said that the actor decided to die by suicide as he was cornered by the film industry because of nepotism. However, a few days ago, Sushant’s father filed an FIR against the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for stealing his money and instigating him to do suicide.
Well now, Sushant’s father has released a video statement in which he has stated that he had alerted Bandra police that his son’s life is in danger. ANI tweeted the video with Sushant’s father KK Singh’s statement, “On Feb 25, I informed Bandra Police that he’s in danger. He died on June 14 & I asked them to act against people named in my Feb 25 complaint. No action taken even 40 days after his death. So I filed FIR in Patna.”
He has further stated, “I later went to Patna and lodged an FIR. The Patna Police took swift action. We want the Patna Police to get assistance. I want to thank Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Sanjay Jha for supporting the truth.”
Now, Mumbai police and Bihar police, are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, a few days ago, we got to see Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara which released on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie has received a great response.
