Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to make her acting comeback with Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2 which is all set to release on Friday (23) on Disney+ Hotstar. From the past few days, we have been hearing the actress’ name in the news as her husband Raj Kundra has been arrested in a case related to the alleged creation and distribution of pornographic films.
Recently, Shilpa took to Twitter to requests her fans to watch the film and wrote that ‘the film shouldn’t suffer’. The actress tweeted, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, ‘The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW. Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever! #Hungama2.”
In another she wrote, “So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.”
Directed by Priyadarshan, Hungama 2 also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri and Pranita Subhash.
According to PTI, on Friday, court extended Raj Kundra’s police remand till July 27.
While talking about the case, Mumbai police commissioner Hemant Nagrale had earlier stated, “There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this.”
