The holy month of Ramadan, a time of restraint and austerity began in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Muslims in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait and Qatar and Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, are observing their first fast of the month of Ramadan today.
