Bangladesh marks International day of the disappeared

Relatives of disappeared family members gathered on friday at an event, organized by social organization ‘Mayer Dak’, in Dhaka to commemorate the International Day of the Disappeared.

The event was held at the national press club in the Bangladesh capital.

According to the Legal rights advocacy group Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK), at least 344 people have disappeared in Bangladesh between 2014 and 2019.
